Salad Turnips

Also known as Hakurei turnips or Japanese turnips.

These are not your Grandma's turnips. Salad turnips are delicious raw - sweet with none of the spice of their radish cousins. 

We eat them like apples, but eat them as you please: add to a salad, a snack plate with hummus, LIGHTLY sauteed in butter, pickled! Yum!
