Tastes just like a typical head of broccoli, but sprouting broccoli produces multiple loose, smaller heads on individual branches (much like the trademarked Broccolini). The stems are very tender and delicious.
You don't have to separate the florets like you do with a head of broccoli - its ready to cook or eat without much prep.
